Boy Scout Builds Benches for Barnet
There are 20 new benches all throughout the course at Barnet Park, one by every tee pad, thanks to Briley Taylor. Briley raised the funds, built the benches and installed them as a project in his quest to become an Eagle Scout. The benches were installed April 10, 2007, by Briley and friends.

The Kinston Disc Golf Association thanks Briley Taylor and his family and friends for their excellent work improving the disc golf course at Barnet Park for the community.
