The Details...
The Charities: This year, the proceeds from the event went to Kinston ICOR, the local food bank. Donations of supplies for the SPCA were also collected.
The Ice Bowl is a nationwide event held by local disc golf clubs in January and February each year. Clubs compete on various criteria, including donations, total food collected, coldest weather played, best photos. It’s all for fun, community, and an excuse to play outside.
