2015 Ice Bowl - Jan. 31, 2015
Barnet Park, Kinston, NC

It's official. We're doing the Ice Bowl again in 2014! This year's tournament director is Andrew Duppstadt, with assistant TD Joel Smith.

Online registration is now closed. You can still register on-site Saturday morning! We'll open registration at 8:30am.

We'll have a basket toss for an Innova Traveler portable basket and some other great prizes. Everyone gets one throw as part of the entry fee. Improve your chances for a buck a throw. This year, the basket toss will take place during lunch!

The Details...

$20.00 Entry includes an Ice Bowl Hot Stamp Disc and nested collector minis. (If we run out of Ice Bowl discs, we'll have regular discs, so early sign-ins get the best selection. We will also have premium "buy-up" discs for which you can use your player pack disc voucher and a few extra bucks to pick up.)

This is a charity fundraiser for Mary's Kitchen (and the SPCA.) Bring canned goods for people and for pets. Pet products benefit the Lenoir Co. SPCA.

90 player limit, 2 Rounds from the Short Tees for everyone. Lots of fun and prizes.

Sign-in and Late Registration opens Saturday morning at 8:30am.
Player Meeting at 9:30am.
Group Photo following Meeting
Tee-off at or close to 10:00am

Check-in/registration will be held under the picnic shelter at Barnet Park, near the tee for hole #1.

During lunch, you can get your golf pencils sharpened! Donations requested, but not required.

Remember the Ice Bowl motto - No Wimps! No Whiners!

If you've never played in a disc golf tournament before, this is a good place to start. It's a little more relaxed and lots of fun.

The Charities: This year, we will be raising funds and collecting food for Kinston's Mary's Kitchen. Friends of the Homeless is our local homeless shelter. Mary's Kitchen provides hot lunches to those who need them. We will also be collecting pet food and goods for the Lenoir Co. SPCA.

The Ice Bowl is a nationwide event held by local disc golf clubs in January and February each year. Clubs compete on various criteria, including donations, total food collected, coldest weather played, best photos. It’s all for fun, community, and an excuse to play outside.
